I personally have never tried to perform scripting in KeyShot since I don’t know how to write python. Headless rendering extends the functionality of the scripting console by running KeyShot without a user interface. This is useful for some high-volume jobs that require automation. If you weren’t aware of it, KeyShot supports scripting in the language of Python. We appreciate your input and you being part of the Fusion community.Luxion demonstrates Physics simulation in KeyShot 11 Headless RenderingĪnother feature, new to KeyShot 11 is headless rendering. I would recommend reaching out on the Keyshot forums as well for further detail. I hope this helps answer at least some of your questions.
#Import obj into keyshot for zbrush update#
The OBJ export options are very limited at this time and I hope to see the option to "convert to quad mesh" included in a future update to Fusion - this may help improve the quality of meshes exported from Fusion.

STEP should not require any tessellation, which usually seems to give cleaner results with less faceting (a good example of this is shown in post #14 in the thread linked above). When I brought this thread up to the team, some of them were surprised to hear that you were receiving better results from the STL than STEP format. I reached out to some of the folks who have worked with Keyshot more extensively and they mentioned that the translation is an STL transfer with some attention to RGB color and pre-linking of materials, which may help to improve results.

I have tried exporting bodies / surfaces from Fusion 360 in just about every possible manner, with varying degrees of success and importing into 3ds Max, Zbrush, etc. Different file formats produce different levels of quality (e.g.
